The 24-year-old Canadian striker has continued to shine with the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring 24 goals and providing eight assists in 44 appearances across all competitions. With just over a year left on his contract, he is ready for a new adventure in the summer.

Earlier this month, reports suggested that Napoli had verbally agreed a five-year deal with David, who was keen to join the Campania outfit in the summer. He has also attracted the attention of Milan, who are focusing on Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee for the time being.

Aston Villa danger

TMW details how Aston Villa are seriously interested in making a move for David in the summer, wanting a new starting striker should they secure a spot in the Champions League, and have identified him as a concrete target.

Manchester United are also interested in the 24-year-old striker, who has a price tag of around €35m, pilling the pressure on Napoli and Milan.
