The Indiana Pacers upset the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night at the Fiserv Forum as Tyrese Haliburton and Co. escaped with an impressive 122-113 victory in this much-anticipated matchup.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did all he could to carry his team to victory, but his 30-point, 18-rebound, 11-assist triple-double just wasn’t enough against a determined Indiana side.
One of the more memorable moments of the evening came in the third quarter after Giannis swatted away a Haliburton lay-up attempt. The block was nice, but what followed shortly after Antetokounmpo’s heads-up defensive play was even better:

Giannis literally walked over Haliburton after the block as the latter lay face-down on the floor. It’s not as if Antetokounmpo had no other choice but to step over the Pacers star, but the Bucks talisman still decided to do so in what looked like an Allen Iverson vs. Tyronn Lue-like moment.
In the end, however, all that mattered was that it was the Pacers who secured the win. Haliburton went off yet again, finishing with a team-high 26 points on 11-of-22 shooting, to go along with nine rebounds, 11 assists, a steal, a block, one triple and two turnovers in 37 minutes of play.
Halburton’s clutch heroics were crucial for the Pacers as they now improve to 3-1 against Milwaukee this season.
