The Orioles Are Calling Up 2 More Elite Prospects
Lauren Roberts/Salisbury Daily Times via Imagn Content Services, LLC

The Baltimore Orioles may have a pretty good team here in the near future.

They’ve already emerged as a surprise postseason contender this year, thanks in large part to the arrival and contributions of catcher Adley Rutschman.

But there are more top prospects on their way.

Last night, the Orioles announced that two of their top prospects, Gunnar Henderson and DL Hall, would be flying to Cleveland to join the team’s taxi squad, which means that before too long, we’re going to see these guys at the Major League level.

MASN, the TV home of the Orioles, tweeted the news about the two top prospects joining the team.

Henderson, Hall On Their Way

The Orioles are getting younger and better at the same time.

More top prospects are headed for the big leagues, and they’ll soon be ready to contribute and help this Orioles team compete for the postseason, which is something they haven’t done a whole lot of in a long time.

This year is obviously different, but while they build for the future, their team gets better in the process.

This could be a very exciting team to watch down the stretch this year.

We’re about to enter the month of September, which means that rosters can expand slightly.

That leaves a couple spots open for Henderson and Hall to be added to the team.

There’s a lot to look forward to if you’re an Orioles fan, even if the team falls short of the postseason this year.

There are a ton of great young players that are going to be exciting to watch for years to come, with potentially some new additions to the club in the offseason.
